Defining Software Schemes

The eAuditor software includes elements of a DLP (Data Loss Prevention) system. This functionality allows the definition of software schemes categorized into allowed, prohibited, and recommended applications. This enables automatic installation of recommended software for specific user groups and automatic uninstallation of prohibited applications.

System Console Indicators

For clear visibility in the system console, prohibited software is marked in red, while recommended software is marked in green. This visual distinction helps administrators quickly identify the application status.

Automated Software Management

Assigning a software scheme to a selected group of computers enables automatic identification of redundant software. This ensures a high level of security and control while preventing unnecessary disk usage on organizational computers.

Creating and Assigning Schemes

Network administrators can create an unlimited number of DLP software schemes and assign them to specific departments, such as accounting, marketing, or sales.

Notifications and Alerts

The system allows for setting up SMS, email, or alert notifications regarding attempts to install prohibited applications or uninstall recommended ones. This keeps administrators informed of any non-compliance in real-time.

Computer Inventory and Management

Administrators have access to an inventory of all computers where non-compliant applications have been installed. This feature is particularly useful when a new employee joins a department, such as sales. By accessing the detailed computer record, administrators can see exactly what software should be installed on the employee’s device to enable efficient performance of their duties.

Data Export

Data on installed software can also be exported to various formats, facilitating further processing and analysis.
